One of the best "bangs for your buck" is our Pulley Power Package for the Gen1 MINI Cooper S. This kit includes the new Alta 15% Supercharger Pulley, NGK Cooler Spark Plugs and a Gates Supercharger Belt. Installing our Pulley Power Package is a great way to increase your Motoring experience.

While MINI may have given the Gen1 Cooper "S" owners a literal boost over standard Coopers there is no reason to be comfortable with 163HP. One of the best ways to turn up the power is to turn up the boost with our Alta Supercharge Pulley for your Gen1 MINI Cooper S.

ALTA was the first manufacturer to design a two piece, taper fit Mini Cooper Supercharger Pulley. Today, it's the most imitated design on the market. Their latest version of the ALTA pulley has taken pulley design to the next level. Installation is easier than ever, and the results are even more fantastic.

The "cooler" plugs work great installed with a Supercharger Pulley on a Gen 1 MINI Cooper S. These "cooler" NGK plugs will get running smoother with more power through increased efficiency and heat resistance. All plugs come pre-gapped, but should be checked for .035" gap before installation. This is a great upgrade for any Gen 1 MINI Cooper!

When your Gen 1 MINI Cooper S gets into the higher miles, or you're installing a new Supercharger pulley, it's time to start thinking about replacing your belts. If you're installing a smaller supercharger pulley you will need a smaller belt to reduce the slack and allow the belt tensioner to work properly. Gates belts are used by MINI as their OEM belt supplier and trusted in racing conditions due to their high quality design.

Gates belt #K060535 is 1379mm and works with both a 15% or 17% pulley with stock crank pulley. The Gates belt#K060539 is 1385mm and works with the 15% or 17% supercharger pulley with a 2% crank pulley. If you do not have a stock overdrive crank pulley please specify in the order notes so we can insure you receive the correct size belt. If no mention of your crank pulley is made customers will receive Gates belt K060535 (1379mm) by default.
