NM Eng Oil Catch Can MINI S R56 N18 (2011-2013)

Product Description

NM Engineering Catch Tank for the Gen2 MINI Cooper (with N14 engine) is machined from billet 6061 aluminum alloy and anodized for stealth and added surface durability. The NM tank catches the oil and moisture in the blow-by gas that can cause carbon and sludge build-up in the turbo, intake system and the engine. Every piece of the kit can be disassembled for thorough cleaning and servicing.

The NM Engineering Catch Tank kit also features the Patent Pending Locking Clip system for securing the billet adapters to the OEM plastic fittings. It allows installer to simply slip the adapter onto the OE fitting and the clip will snap in place keeping the adapter from backing out.

The kit includes block-off plug for the rear PCV port.

Not-So-Fun Fact:
MINI dealer service charges 5-6 hours ($600-700) to clean your intake port from carbon build-up caused by the oil/moisture circulating back into the internal. This procedure is 'recommended' around 60-70,000 miles, after your warranty expires.

NOTE: For N18 engine application. This oil catch can will not work on the N14 engine that were available from 2007-2010. For the N14 engine please view part number NM.498855.
