The ALTA Hot Side boost tube for the Gen2 MINI Cooper S R56 and JCW replaces the restrictive OEM rubber hoses for larger diameter and smoother 5-ply silicone hose. At the same time this removes a restrictive intake muffer which combined to increase power roughly 5HP at the wheels.

Less Restrictive, Adding 5HP!
The ultra smooth interior surfaces of the ALTA Boost Tube combined with the removal of the restrictive intake muffler allows your turbo to run more efficiently. In turn this means better response and more horsepower! This part goes great with our ALTA larger front mounted intercooler. Together you will see 15-20 Wheel horsepower gains!

Speaking of smooth, the ultra smooth interior surfaces of each tube remove intakes restriction that can otherwise hinder performance. Your car uses a turbocharger to force air into the motor, so any corrugation, dips, pits etc. all choke the efficiency of the turbo system. Additionally, your MINI came with a ridiculous muffler section on the hot side of the intercooler plumbing. This muffler literally robs the car of power. Our Boost Tube kit removes that muffler and makes a smooth transition from the turbo outlet directly into the intercooler.
