These KYB GR-2/Excel-G gas Struts for the VW Golf Jetta MK4 are engineered to be 15% stiffer than your OE Struts. This makes them a perfect choice for the Golf/Jetta MK4 owner that wants to add a conservative lowering spring to their car, as they will be less prone to “bottoming out” in comparison to the OE Struts.
