For the WRX, Posi Quiet pads feature precision cut backing plates and mechanically attached shims, small details that ensure proper fitment in the caliper and virtually eliminate noise associated with pad vibration.

An additional scorching process forces any impurities out of the friction material and pre-burnishes the pads to speed up the pad break-in process.
