These KYB GR-2/Excel-G gas Struts for the Subaru WRX are engineered to be 15% stiffer than your OE Struts. This makes them a perfect choice for the WRX owner that wants to add a conservative lowering spring to their car, as they will be less prone to “bottoming out” in comparison to the OE Struts. These KTB struts work great with both OEM springs or aftermarket springs. If you decide to go with a lowering spring we recommend the H&R Sport Springs in combination with these KYB struts.

The combination of a low-pressure gas charge, a patented check valve to minimize foaming and aeration help make sure the ride of your WRX stays consistent, even under rough driving conditions. When you want to blend like-new vehicle ride qualities with a little more control, you want KYB GR-2!
