The Cusco Air Suction Pipe Kit for the Scion FR-S / Subaru BRZ / Toytoa 86 is a direct factory replacement component that enhances air intake efficiency. Since naturally aspirated applications are very sensitive to modifications, certain aspects such as air intake is a critical factor in performance enhancement. By providing a smoother internal intake wall lining than the OEM factory ribbed design, a significant increase in air intake velocity can be realized. Smooth, transitional air flow equals less turbulence. The aluminum pipe is a direct replacement of the factory piece where the air intake filter box is retained in its original position. To make this product 100% factory replacement, the OEM "Sound Creator" pipe was still made to be compatible with the aluminum air suction pipe.
