KW V1 Coilovers MINI R50 / R53

The KW Variant 1 for the MINI Cooper/Cooper S R50 R52 R53 has proven to be one of the better values in the coilover market. They are a great value and even with the pre-set dampening they are well worth considering on your short list for entry level coilovers. They offer Sporty Handling with factory pre-set damping. While they do not have lots of the adjustments that other coilovers have (including the Variant 2 and 3's which we also have), they are at a great price point and may be just the perfect solution for many MINI owners out there that do not need or want the extra features and higher price tag.

The ideal system for customers wishing to rely on the experience of our engineers to set the damper setting, yet determine their own degree of lowering. In extensive driving tests our engineers have set the dampers for the best balance between sporty driving, comfort and safety. The user is then free to decide the best height setting for their use and preference.
