Product Description

The all new afe Momentum sealed intake system for the F10 M5 and F12 M6 produces up to 28hp and 31lbs. X ft. torque and outflows the factory intake by 29%. This highly engineered intake system for the F10 M5 and F12 M6 uses twin black rotomolded airboxes that keeps warm engine air out for maximum performance. The housing use a unique Patent Pending filter to housing interface that enables us to use the largest filters possible while maintaining a simple hassle-free installation. The C.A.D. designed intake tubes are engineered to unleash all available horsepower and to fit perfectly. The kit comes complete will all necessary hardware.

The highly engineered sealed airboxes are designed to enhance the aesthetic look of the engine bay and to unleash maximum performance by capturing the coolest air intake charge available. This F10 M5 12 M6 aFe intake system features a unique patent pending filter to housing interface which allows for an easy installation and maximizes filter size. Reinforced silicone couplings are used to connect the tubes to the turbo inlet adaptors for strength and durability. This system picks up cold air from the factory air inlet and secondary auxiliary air port.

Filter Options:
This intake utilizes dual, 6-1/2" tall conical filter. Choose from Pro5R oiled blue filter (54-76301) or ProDryS dry white filter (51-76301). For the best flowing filter, with the best performance gain, we always recommend the standard aFe "Pro5R " filter (which has a blue pre-oiled filter), but this oil-free filter flows only slightly less than the blue Pro5R style aFe filter, and requires no re-oiling after cleaning the filter.
