These KYB GR-2/Excel-G gas Struts for the Civic are engineered to be 15% stiffer than your OE Struts. This makes them a perfect choice for the Honda Civic owner that wants to add a conservative lowering spring to their car, as they will be less prone to “bottoming out” in comparison to the OE Struts. Of course these KYB struts work great with your factory springs as well.The combination of a low-pressure gas charge, a patented check valve to minimize foaming and aeration help make sure the ride of your Civic stays consistent, even under rough driving conditions.
